Braver swimmers might attempt a quick dip – a little wild swimming is all part of Aberafon’s package – but there are sandier swimming beaches along the peninsula. The beachside loos were handily located for us and the views from the washing up point are amazing! (By people who have actually owned hearing care practices!) There’s a small gas station/shop about 1.5 miles away but nothing else within strolling distance. Snowdonia and North Wales' other major attractions are close by.
